If you have surface marks, typically these can be eliminated or greatly reduced
on one side of a resistance weld. This is often called a class A weld.
Reducing or eliminating surface marks is very difficult for some cases but
most can be accomplished in about 3 days time on site if the TX, tooling and
machine and capable of such a weld.
Basically you need to balance the heat of the weld to keep the HAZ as far
away from the class A surface as possible. MFDC technology does this the best.
